Time for a Change!

It's Time for a Change in 8C03

Many residents in Single Member District 8C03 are not happy with the current state of our community. Check Spelling

Our current commissioner Mary Cuthbert has served and exhausted her time in office.

For starters we need a Commissioner that keeps the community informed and takes the time to Hear us Speak, and not response with historic excuses.

We need a Commissioner that doesn't believe the political sense that the community people don't understand certain things, so they would instead give us the infamous reply "this is politics". Rather than breaking it down so that our questions ands concerns are acknowledged and not avoided.

21 years young, Larry T. Pretlow II who resides next door to Cuthbert on Martin Luther King JR AVE filed his Declaration of Candidacy on June 21, 2010 with DCBOEE. Pretlow is the President of the National Youth Rights Association, he is also a student at Strayer University in an exceptionally high academic standing.

He is a born-native of the District, and grew up in the Ward 7 River Terrace Community in North East. Ward 8 is now home and its been made clear that home is where the heart is!
